Serves up to 600 people a day
The Callas Foundation was established in 2018 by Caroline Peters to serve women affected by gender-based violence (GBV).
Its program reflects the following activities:
- Advocacy for women’s rights
- Dismantling the patriarchy
- Psychosocial support for women affected by GBV
- Community engagement
- Access to justice - such as accompanying women through the court system
Kitchen needs:
Regular donations of food items such as dry ingredients rice, lentils, samp, and meat, beans, vegetables and tinned food and dishing utensils. The foundation also requires workshop stationery, art & craft supplies, chairs/couches, carpentry work, an intercom system, IT equipment and telephones.
